Sandra lives in Guelph, Ontario and has been playing tennis since the age of 10. She competed as a junior in provincial tournaments, and at the University of Guelph but found her passion for the sport in teaching. As a Certified Tennis Canada Instructor, Sandra specializes in early development and enjoys sharing her love for the game to children 4-7 years old. Her lessons focus on having fun while instilling solid fundamentals to prepare for the next level of tennis development.
Wayne Tran has helped national and international level players succeed at tournaments on Canadian soil and abroad. Wayne’s lessons emphasize footwork, physical and mental toughness, and strategy best suited for the individual player.
Our mission is to provide a fun and friendly environment for beginners of all ages to fall in love with our sport, and to advance the skills of tournament players in a healthy, sustainable way.
We offer structured group and private lessons for all ages to develop your skills and win more matches. Please contact email@example.com to book lessons. Rates have court fees included!
Here at the Tran Tennis Academy, we strive to cultivate the passion for tennis with our beginner students. We accomplish this by introducing them to real tennis tactics early with the use of appropriately sized equipment and courts recommended by Tennis Canada and the ITF.
Once the student reaches certain milestones in play ability and maturity, we incrementally introduce more tools to help improve athleticism, stroke efficiency and mental toughness in order to win more matches and tournaments.
We believe the key to tennis success is through athleticism, footwork and sound tactics driven by an inner fire to improve and compete. The traditional method of finding that "perfect forehand” through endless ball feeding is not as effective in winning matches. Learning occurs best when it is fun and the technique makes sense in the context of gameplay.
